US Benefits

Ipsos is happy to offer a comprehensive benefits plan to our employees. Employees will be entitled to insured benefit coverage once they meet the eligibility requirements set out by the insurance carriers.

The benefits plans include medical and dental coverage, Short Term and Long Term Disability coverage, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and 401K/GRRSP.

BTA insurance is provided by Chubb. This insurance provides 24-hour emergency assistance worldwide when traveling for business.

The benefit is 100% company paid.

Short Term Disability (STD)

STD is provided by Cigna. After an initial waiting period of 7 calendar days, the STD plan pays 60% of an employee’s base pay (subject to social security and group benefit offsets) for up to 26 weeks.Employees regularly scheduled to work 35+ hours per week.

This benefit is subject to standard tax deductions.
Long Term Disability (LTD)

LTD is provided by Cigna. For approved disabilities, the plan provides 66-2/3% of an employee’s base pay (subject to social security and group benefit offsets) up to a maximum of $10,000 per month. LTD begins after 26 weeks of the STD has been exhausted. The benefit is paid up to a normal retirement age.Full time salaried employees regularly scheduled to work 35 or more hours per week.

Long Term Care Insurance

Optional Long Term Care insurance coverage is available for employees, spouse, children over the age of 18, parents and siblings.

The benefit is 100% employee paid and payroll deducted post-tax.

Long term care (LTC) is the type of care received by someone who needs assistance performing the basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing or using the bathroom as a result of a disability caused by an accident, illness or a chronic illness due to advanced aging. It is also for someone who needs assistance because of severe cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer’s disease.

LTC can be provided at home, in the community, in assisted living or in nursing homes. It is important to remember that you may need long-term care at any age.

401K Retirement Plan

Employees can contribute any percentage of base salary tax deferred up to $18,500.00 annually ($24,500.00 annually if age 50 or older). Employee vesting schedule is over 5 years.
Company will match 50 cents on the $1.00 on employee contributions up to 5% of base pay.

Tuition Reimbursement Policy

Ipsos encourages continued education. Ipsos will provide up to $4,000.00 in tuition reimbursement per calendar year (Jan-Dec) for courses directly related to job responsibilities.

100% reimbursement for passing grade (C or above).
Employees regularly scheduled to work 35+ hours per week, as long as the employee is 21 years of age or older

After one year of employment with approval from Manager/Country CFO.
