  • He replaces Jim Smith who becomes Special advisor to the Co-presidents. In addition to his new responsibilities, Jim retains his role as Head of the Ipsos dedicated P&G organisation.

Pierre Le Manh

Pierre Le Manh joined Ipsos in 2004 and was previously CEO of Consodata, a world leader in marketing databases. At Ipsos, he held several roles as Chairman of the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions and CEO of Ipsos Europe. Since 2007, he was Chairman and CEO of Ipsos Marketing – role that he will retain in addition to his new responsibilities.

Pierre is a member of the Ipsos Board of Directors.

After ensuring the handing over of his territorial responsibilities to Pierre, Jim will play an active role in developing and carrying out a number of initiatives designed to make Ipsos a company more competitive and more effective. Jim will also retain his role of Head of the Ipsos dedicated P&G organisation, ensuring a high level of quality of service across Ipsos specialised teams and across territories.

Both Jim and Pierre report to Didier Truchot, Chairman and CEO of Ipsos.

Didier Truchot said: “Over a period of seven years under Jim’s direction, Ipsos in North America has become an essential player in this market. It has become an organisation gaining the active support of its clients, highly satisfied with the expertise and commitment of our teams and the quality of the services they provide.

“We thank Jim for his substantial contribution over the years and are convinced that, building on these bases, Pierre will be able to continue from Jim’s legacy and contribute to Ipsos becoming the best research agency in its chosen fields of specialisation in this predominant market. More generally, Ipsos must continue its transformation. We need to be more effective in what we do and more innovative in what we undertake.”
