Toronto, ON – The Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) has announced several new additions to its Board of Directors. Andrew Cochrane, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) of Ipsos in Canada has been elected as a Board member for the 2016–2017 term. He will commence his responsibilities on June 3, 2016.
The MRIA Board brings together the leading experts and thinkers in the industry, representing all sectors and constituencies of the Association's membership. With 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant and 16 years in the market research world, Cochrane brings a diverse range of expertise. He also currently serves as a member of the MRIA Audit and Risk committee, and was previously on the Board of Directors for The Change Canada Charitable Foundation. He is a CPA, CA and a graduate of the Rotman Commerce Program.
