Ipsos Healthcare Strengthens Leadership with Three New Hires

Marco DiBonaventura Joins Ipsos Healthcare in a Senior Global Role, and Richard W. Martin and Elizabeth Machado Assume North American Posts

New York, NY – Ipsos announced today the appointment of Marco DiBonaventura, Ph.D., as Senior Vice President and leader of the Global Evidence, Value, and Access (GEVA) group. In this position, he will oversee all operations of the group’s global activity including study design, implementation, data management, analysis, report writing, and scientific dissemination of health outcomes research and consulting engagements.

Prior to joining Ipsos, Dr. DiBonaventura spent eight years at Kantar Health as the Vice President of Health Outcomes within the Americas. He also worked at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. In addition to authoring over 100 publications, DiBonaventura has presented at numerous conferences, serves on the editorial board for a number of leading journals, and is on several industry advisory boards. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Social/Health Psychology from Rutgers University.

Richard W. Martin has also joined Ipsos Healthcare as Senior Vice President, North America. Mr. Martin will serve as the Global Account Director for one of the division’s key clients. He brings a wealth of experience in life sciences, having advised and consulted with the pharmaceutical and biotech segments for more than two decades. Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Martin worked in sales, brand, and marketing management in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries.

Elizabeth Machado has joined Ipsos Healthcare as Vice President, North America, where she will work with key clients as a collaborator and leader on a range of pressing commercial issues. She will also help to enhance Ipsos Healthcare’s therapeutic Center of Excellence (CoE) strategy in major disease states. Over the last 14 years, Machado has held numerous positions within PSL Group -- most recently, as a Senior Vice President with Instar. She also spent several years working for non-profit organizations, including the United Nations and NYU Medical Center.
