Health Outcomes Survey (HOS) for Seniors is the first outcomes measure used in Medicare managed care and the largest survey effort ever undertaken by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The goal of the Medicare HOS program is to gather valid and reliable health status data in Medicare managed care for use in quality improvement activities, plan accountability, public reporting, and improving health. All managed care plans with Medicare Advantage (MA) contracts must participate. Ipsos Synovate has been a certified HOS vendor since its inception over 15 years ago.

The Million Veteran Program - Ipsos is a survey partner on MVP, which is one of the largest human genome research projects ever conducted. Commissioned by the United States’ Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the goal of MVP is to better understand how genes affect health and illness in order to improve health care for Veterans, and all Americans. As many as one million Veterans who volunteer will be recruited to establish a research database of genomic and health information.
